In the spirit of full disclosure – I’m a BIG Joss Whedon fan. I love Buffy, Angel, Serenity, Firefly and Dr Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog! So when I heard that he he’d written a horror movie,I knew I had to see it!

Five friends go to a remote cabin in the woods where they get more than they bargained for. All is not as it seems!

If you’re a horror fan you’ll recognise the usual teen slasher film archetypes: the jock, the cheerleader, the virgin, the intellectual and the fool. However, this is not a typical teen slasher movie. To say anymore would spoil it for anyone who plans to see this movie!!

But what I can tell you is that the film is laugh out loud funny (in parts). It has some jump out of your seat moments (I think I jumped twice ). Yes, its violent, but there’s not that much gore and it offers up a few original ideas for the genre.
