Discovering London: Serpentine Walk

In search of Narnia

I love discovering new places and dream of the day I discover something like Narnia or line Alice, go through the looking-glass. This means i’m always happy to explore and have mini adventures

Okay, I started today with a plan. I was going to see the Ballgowns exhibition at the V&A. Found out the exhibition is so popular they only had tickets for 4 o’clock onwards (it was 1). This was way too long for me to wait, so I bought tickets for tomorrow and decided to do a bit of shopping in Knightsbridge.

After a little shopping, I noticed a narrow alley called Serpentine Walk on the way to my bus stop and had to investigate. It would be a shame not to. Right?

So here we go.

Nearby:

Knightsbridge a.k.a shopping

Hyde Park

Underground station: Knightsbridge

  1. Fascinating. Thanks for sharing :)

I haven’t seen this building close up since they finished it. I can’t say I really care for those ‘mindless’ head sculptures. BTW that’s the god Pan (not the devil) chasing those people – see he is holding his ‘pan pipes’. I want to know what they are supposed to be reaching out to…

    …a frisbee?

I would love to know what you think
